LAC’s Group Spinning Program is a cardiovascular workout performed to music, with a certified instructor, on a “Precor” bike. The class is lead through a variety of movements that simulate the different terrains one encounters on an outdoor bike ride. A Group Spinning bike has a resistance knob to make pedaling easy, moderate, or hard, depending on your fitness level. The popularity of indoor cycling is that you do not have to be an experienced cyclist to benefit from this workout.

Group Spinning reservations are located at the front desk. You may reserve classes up to one week in advance. Reserving bikes is advised and has priority, otherwise drop-in attendance is accepted. Out of courtesy to others, please call and cancel if you are signed up for a class but unable to attend.

Minimum age to attend Group Spinning is 12 years old.

Spinning 101 is a  30 min. introductory class that will familiarize you with all aspects of the bike, terminology used in class and correct “set-up” on the bike. Spinning 101 can be used as a 30 min. quick ride or a warm up session for the cycling class that follows.  You will leave ready to tackle the world of cycling after this informative and fun cycling class

Group Spinning Ride to the beat of powerful music in our indoor cycling studio with 21 bikes. Motivating instructors help you burn through hills, flats, mountain peaks, and intervals to reach a calorie torching endorphin high.  Sign-up at our front desk.
